On Thursday 25th October at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in
Dublin’s Docklands, the shortlists for the 2012 Awards were announced to an
assembly of authors, publishers, booksellers, sponsors and media. The
very best books published in Ireland across a vast range of genres in 2012 form
the shortlists. Winners in
each category will be decided by your votes.

Voting closes at midnight on Sunday 18th November 2012 and five lucky voters selected will each win €50 of National Book Tokens.
The 2012 Irish Book Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner will be
held at the RDS, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, on Thursday 22nd November.
